TIDES DESIGN
A collection of art scarves from our Tides mixed media painted on plaster, to create abstracted textures which translate beautifully on our large silk scarf and cashmere wrap. We will also be launching a small silk scarf, long silk scarf and pouches in this gorgeous new design!
The Tides colour story is hand-painted from original paintings by Tamara. None of our art is digitally created, copied or purchased. Our wearable art scarves are ethically produced and created using environmentally considerate dyes and natural materials.
“TIDES” COLOUR STORY
Inspired by long walks along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, my Tides painting started as a series of colour sketches, before being painted on cast plaster. The plaster transforms the bright colours into a chalky palette of coastal tones. The textures and mark-making are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale over our silk scarves and cashmere wrap.
