It’s only a few more days until we can finally get back to the hairdressers. However for those of us who haven’t been able to get an appointment or who, for one reason or another, aren’t going to be getting a haircut here are a few ideas for using our hand illustrated scarves to tie in your hair, which will give you a unique look with your own personal style.
1.Simple ponytail hair tie
Take one of our small square art scarves, fold across the diagonal and tie with a knot around your ponytail.
2.Skinny scarf tied round ponytail
This is very similar to No 1 but because the skinny scarf is 240cms long it creates a more dressy, glamourous look. Tie round your ponytail, and if you like you can tie a few times so it extends down the ponytail. Then know and allow the ends to drape down your back. In the summer this looks amazing with halterneck or camisole tops as it falls down your bare back.
3.Small Square Top Knot
Keeping your hair out of your face by knotting a small square round your head. Fold the square across the diagonal and then with centre of scarf at the nape of your neck bring the two ends to the top of your head and know. Simple and cool.
4.Skinny Illustrated Silk Scarf
Wear in a really fun way with a bow on the top. Drape the centre of the skinny scarf across the top of your head, cros the two ends over at the nape of your neck, and bring the two ends back up to the top and tie in a bow.
5.Wearable Art Turban
For this we use our long silk scarves which will cover more of your head, perfect for bad hair days or hiding those roots. Start with the centre of the scarf at the nape of the neck, bring the two ends up to the top and then cross them over and back on themselves. Bring the ends back to the nape of the neck and knot. You can then either drape the ends down your shoulder or bring them back up and tuck into your turban. Very elegant. You then just need a cocktail in hand!
Hope you have fun creating some fabulous looks, and please post any photos on Instagram.
