Our story is all about seasonless fashion, producing beautiful quality art scarves that have a timeless design which you will want to keep forever. Like old friends, sometimes not seeing them for a while but when you do it brings immeasurable pleasure. It takes us back to the slow fashion of times past when clothing was bought to last. Great design transcends time - I still wear my grandmother’s scarves from the 1950’s!
So, we’re really happy that there’s a rising trend for seasonless fashion, which does away with the idea of an ongoing cycle of spring/summer and autumn /winter lines. Instead seasonless fashion is focussed on slowing down the fashion consumption cycle, providing pieces which transcend the traditional seasonal collections and goes hand in hand with the rising demand for sustainability.
Gucci debuted their first seasonless collection this Spring at London Fashion week, so it’s nice to know that, with our launch in 2019, Ruby Kite is leading the way with wearable art scarves that can be worn at any time of the year, dressed up or down with colours that seem to suit any season.
